On October 11, the town of Lewisboro became Westchester’s first community to pass a Complete Streets policy, which instructs policymakers and local highway officials to consider all users of the roadways – including pedestrians and cyclists – when making roadway improvements. We’re hoping this legislation can serve as a model for other communities. Town Board member Dan Welsh, as a Bike Walk Alliance member, promoted the legislation.
